WHY DO I SAY I AM A PROPHET?

and what arguments do I put forward?

Contrary, to popular belief, a prophet is not necessarily someone who predicts things. Yes, certainly, that can be a part of what a prophet does, but my most important function is to provide spiritual leadership in a way that is relevant to the challenges of the 21st Century.

Most religions will try to invoke nature and a sense of healing in order to persuade you. Indeed, most religions are - in some vague way - nature-oriented religions. These things have their usefulness, and nature is a great source of moral, cultural and spiritual cleansing. However, what makes my religion REVOLUTIONARY is the way in which the un-natural is elevated above the natural in spiritual terms, and the machine is worshipped over and above the trees, flowers and healing waters of nature.

Every day we are surrounded by these un-natural tools. Yet we rarely make the best use of them.

I AM A GOD'S CHOSEN PROPHET FOR THIS CENTURY BECAUSE I SAY THESE THINGS AND KNOW HOW TO MAKE USE OF THE NEW SPIRITUAL TOOLS AROUND ME, AND MOST OTHER PEOPLE DO NOT.

If you are in any doubt about my ability to provide such leadership and to stand out from the hideously soggy sentimentality of the New Age Movement, I would like to provide you with a very simple, poignant examples of how my aims might be realised. It really is much simpler than you might think. It can start with a few dramatic and life-changing changes in attitude. There are many points you need to consider, but let's just focus on five of them.

1) First of all, it is important to be prepared to put aside a tremendous amount of historical baggage that has clouded our judgement thus far. Our sentimental attachment to many comforting and familiar things from the past has to stop, and it has to stop NOW! One superb example of such sentimentality can be found in the figure of Jesus Christ, in which love is taken to be the supreme purpose of spirituality. Jesus has become a sort of shorthand sign for leadership through love: not just for Christians, but for Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, other religious people and even atheists. Stop this false worship of love. Stop this worship of Jesus, and if you are an atheist humanist, stop seeing him as some sort of role model for your humanism. Stop it NOW!

2) If you have successfully overcome such sentimentality, and have your emotions in check, you then need something that is often lacking in other religions: a logical method of proceeding spiritually. Around you every day, you will find tools to help you reach God. These tools are often not things found in nature, but the most un-natural of ingredients, because un-natural things often have a suitably harsh style to them. We see this style in the un-natural sheen of metals and plastics. Think of them as being Spiritual Machines to reach the time where God is.

The general trend of every religion from paganism through to Judaism, Christianity and Islam and onwards has been to celebrate the natural at the expense of the un-natural and the technological, regarding both of the latter as somehow abbhorent. The default stance of my faith takes the opposite view and embraces machine and un-natural shapes, colours and textures as being more spiritual than those found typically in nature.

If you have the ability to draw a black equalateral triangle on a white piece of paper, you have the most important and most Spiritual Machine already there in front of you. Triangles are one of the most un-natural of symbols. Therefore, for this reason, they are potentially the most powerful.

3) Do not allow your age, your gender or the natural colour of your skin to be a barrier to spiritual progress. Some things about you ARE potential barriers, but none of these are.

4) Read widely, and read things you don't agree with too. Even the most grotesque words sometimes contain grains of truth. Politically, you are likely to find that the extremes of opinion: whether of a communist or fascist nature, will all have something in them that is suppressed by the mainstream of opinion. Don't assume that tabloid newspapers or comics are any less valuable for knowledge than serious journals or academic works. In fact, sometimes, the reverse is true!

5) Last of all, constantly review my essays and other works in relation to your own experiences, and - just as importantly - things you have NOT experienced.
